I guess the latest version of 2.5 has mms working right out of the box. I will be including it once it gets patched and works with the documents tab. as for a mms fix, I'd try this:

For some reason mms has been hit and miss with me, I've been able to successfully send and receive mms a few times, then it suddenly stops working so I have no clue. The above fix might work, let me know how it goes.
