There's probably no problem with the power button. The little chrome outer button has a very small stem that pushes a small actuator button on the circuit board. It's probably out of alignment. Take a look at this thread here. One of the links shows how to disassemble the phone, and you could probably realign it. If the stem is broken on the outer chrome button, just remove the chrome button and use your stylus to take the phone out of sleep mode. Hope this Helps. Thanks T M Z
