FWIW, on my Sprint stock 6.1 ROM, I installed the Ivan1 cab, and edited the window size with Advanced Config to 98304. (On Advanced Config go to network then edit the TCP Window size via the pull down menu to 98304.)

I have zero idea why this works - maybe someone could tell those of us who don't know? - but it worked like a charm for me.
