Short answer: It isn't possible.

Longer more informative answer:

USB is designed with a Host/Peripheral interface. PPC's are generally designed with only Peripheral chipsets, so in order for it to communicate over the USB port it requires a Host device (your computer) to control the connection. Additional software couldn't help, as the hardware is missing necessary functionality.
