Just an FYI to anyone experiencing this problem. This seems like an issue which is only on "some" TP2's a I have had 3 and only one has had the issue of the magnetic case turning the LCD on. The other two have both been used in exactly the same case and have not had the issue. I am not sure what would cause this other than small variation from one phone to the other or possibly the magnets strength from phone to phone.
