Re: New Otterbox Case for Omnia

Ted, As much as I would liek to agree that not all i900/i908/i910 device add-ons are applicable to all devices, the case you mention IS - in fact -for all variations of Omnia i900-series phones. I have used one for a number of months - without issue. Of course, it doens't include a screen skin... we would have to install same ourselves (and have done so, about 15 times this last year - due to work related wear.) I finally DID give in, and buy an Otter Box Defender... and couldn't be any more happy. It has weight and size to it - that makes our thin and delicate style phone more rugged and secure. The built-in screen cover is a plus, as are the dedicated button covers. The Defender might not be water proof, but I feel far more secure knowing I can use my Omnia in any kind of weather - while on-scene at a medical call or fire scene. The larger size case makes it easier to grasp. I have added a black plastic Zip-strip through the thin metal pen-fob loop, and secured a 1" key ring to it. Now, I have an additional "secure point" to use when taking evidence photos, making calls or attaching the phone to my turn-out gear for hands free calls when in the Command Post.
