This was posted earlier here by someone else. ( sorry forgot who) but had the issues on jan 20th and the fix worked.
Energy "Leo" 23518 Issues/Resolutions:
* Modify this registry setting to get YouTube sound working:
HKLM\Software\HTC\YouTube\EnableMDP set to "0"
* To get your MP3 ringtones working delete the file OM10qs.lnk from windows\startup\ and Reset. Check your ringtone setup! It should be good to go now!
it did get the video's to play
