First swype is a personal preference, not all people will like it or want to use it, I for one don't see the need for it.
Second, the people who are totally against iPhone are usually people who never used one and/or people to just don't like Apple.
Third, people who are against WinMo are the same as the number 2 just never used one or just dead set hating Microsoft.
Fourth, anything one phone can do, there are ways to make the other phone do it, period.
Fifth, jailbreaking, flashing new ROMS: the point of either to make the device exactly how you want it. Is there a need for either? No, but do ALOT of people do it to make them better, obvisouly or there would not be TONS of info (even at this site) about the topics.
Sixth, people who say jailbreaking and flashing new ROM are pretty much the same, they pretty are. See some 5, they both are so make the devices better for the user.


In conclusion; both types of devices are good. If you don't like one then that is of your own choice.

Mods, can you just go ahead and shutdown this thread. Seems like it's full of people blindly stating they hate one device without giving some thought to it, just so they can say they "hate it".
