Somewhat confused

So I wanted to try out a 1.6 rom. I pulled my nandroid folder off my sd card onto my desktop for safe keeping. I booted into recovery and proceeded to 1.) Wipe factory data 2.) partition my sd card, 0 swap, 796 ext2, remainder Fat32. Now when i reboot my phone, i get a ton of com.google force closures. Why is this happening? If everything is wiped then it should just go back to factory.

EDIT: Now its stuck on an HTC screen and i cant mount the sd card, access any menus.
