As is now standard (Yay!!!!), browser windows automatically go full screen and hide unneeded things like the address bar - this is a definate must for default options on any device that has limited screen size (like a phone).
For those times when you need to access the address bar or for when you want to know or copy the url, then simply Click on the page and the hidden things are unhidden.
... I don't see any reason to change this default behavoir. The overwhelming vast majority barely even know what the heck a url is. So for those of us that like seeing the url, we can easily live with having to click on the page (hopefully!)
