That will not clear out random errors from data being written to the radio memory area.
That is the main reason for Stock flash.
Sometimes data will get put in places it should not go to.
A stock flash puts everything back where it should go, including radio data.
Custom roms do not include radios so there is now way a custom rom can fix that area.
There maybe more areas that get written to that we do not know about.
A stock flash will fix all of that.
