Hi,

I am brand new to the Sprint TP2 (as of Monday), but have been on the forums for a while with my TP1. The first rom I tried on my new phone is this 21888 manila 2.5. So far I am loving it, but I do have a couple of questions.

I have seen some posts about g-alarm causing other problems. Does anyone have it working successfully without issues? I used this version for the past year with my TP on custom roms, but it does not seem to be working properly for me now. It will wake the phone at the right time and appears to attempt to launch, but the program and therefore the alarm (mp3 file) never plays.

Also, with the programs baked into the rom, am I correct in assuming the only way to upgrade would be to fully install a newer version and have two versions on the phone. For example, when google maps is updated, I am assuming that we would not be able to upgrade our current version, we would have to install the new version into RAM memory. Is that right, or am I missing something?
