With Sense UI, and a dedicated "Phone" button, it's not so bad. Besides, I never understood the need for a send & end button. If you want to make a call, push the phone button; if you're on a call and want to end it, push the phone button again. No need to have separate send and end buttons. So long as HTC provides a constant access point on-screen, it will work out.

That said, I would rather have physical, tactile buttons than capacitive. Nexus One and Droid users are pulling their hair out with this -- hopefully HTC got their stuff together.
