It's a issue with manila 2.1.19xx and WM 6.5(6.1 doesn't have that issue), 2.5 use to do that also until the current builds which fixed that, so hopefully HTC fixes it on the next release of 2.1. As for the icons, HTC made them wider on the last 2 builds of 2.1.1921
