Well Samsung has said it will no longer use WinMo for its phones
But its all about marketshare and customer satisfaction and WinMo has the lowest.
As of the third quarter in 2009, out of 41 million smartphones sold,
- Symbian finished first with 44.6%
- Research in Motion's BlackBerry OS finished second with 20.8%
- iPhone finished third with 17.1%
- Windows Mobile had 7.9%
- Android is 1.8 percent but is estimated to grow to about 12%-15% by 2012
Also Android is free whereas WinMo costs the phone maker $25 per handset.
