I just purchased Copilot Live 8 about a month ago and couldn't be more happy. I was using Google Maps previously. I had to have something that would be more navigation friendly so I wouldn't have to play with the phone while trying to drive and really wanted to have voice directions. Even though it's not free, but for $20, I don't think you could go wrong.
