Besides histrionics, do you have
any evidence whatsoever for this proposition? Especially since HTC's largest growth period has been putting out WinMo devices in the last few years?
I seriously see no relevance of some of these posts in this thread that articulate
a personal preference for one OS over another. That is not the issue here nor has any bearing. It's childish partisanship.
Why would Google buying HTC "be awesome"? What is it about Google that makes you think they know anything about engineering phones, dealing with carriers, firmware, etc? How will it squelch the
other 15 OEMs who make WM devices? How would the Nexus One be any different if Google
owned HTC? Why would ticking of Motorola be a good business decision? Begin by answering some of those questions.
Try using facts, evidence, probability, precedent to make your point--it goes a lot further.
