Are you flashing from sdram or when the ROMUpdateUtility.exe included in the link. I had the same type of problem when I was trying to flash from ram on a Dell PDA. Using the ROMUpdateUtility.exe with activesync has always worked for me. Thanks for your feed back, bad or good.
