Supdawg -- I dont think it is anything you are doing. This is because I have hard reset my touch and the problem exists even in that state. Another interesting thing you can do, is run Opera Mini. It (along with Total Commander FTP) works all the time on my touch. It would be good to get confirmation from others that that is the case. Evidently OM/FTP accesses the internet somewhat differently than pie/flexmail etc. Also there is another thread out there (created by me)  : http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=14380 so others are having problems as well.
Phazed -- I thought it might be evdo-a related but the way its intermittant at all hours, it seems to me that it might be a software issue with the evdo-a install. I just hope Sprint fixes the thing shortly. |
I can confirm that Opera Mini and FTP access do work when Internet Access through PIE does not. I'm in Atlanta were Rev. A has been available and working fine for months. Guess it could still be some software updates, maybe even bytemobile optimization related.
