The difference is that you can install mine on any device, where as the HTC official fixes check the device prior to install and will only install on the specified device. The only caveat here is that mine '
should' work on most 6.5 ROMs. It's actually the same thing that Mike just cooked into his Official release for the TP2 dated yesterday.
All I did, like others, is open up the HTC official fix, extract the rilphone.dll, added a few reg edits, and cabbed it up. The reg edits I added unset the values I had originally posted, since some ROMs had those already in there, and for the lazy that didn't want to uninstall/change the keys.
