Re: nandroid back up onto new hero?
Ok weird but i got mine to restore finally. Ill tell you the last thing i did. I entered the bootloader mode by holding volume down + power button. Once there i chose Fastboot by pressing volume up, then i pressed menu. I let the phone reboot and then turned it back off. Held home + power on and then selected the nandroid restore. It worked. Dont know if the fastboot thing helped but you can try.
