Thats a bit of a curve ball...even if they send you on demand full 1080p it will be using your cable tv connection and not your internet connection. While it is the same connection in the end run, it is a reserved one for the provider and not part of your 15mbps/5mbps connection. That said it is also internal traffic, aka your provider is not paying bandwidth costs for that 1080p.
