LTE was developed specifically for the cellular telephone market, where WiMax was designed to be mobile internet and is being adapted to be a telephone. With the way I see businesses going to VOIP for their office lines, etc every day in my job, I love the idea of WiMax 4G coming.
youre a little confused. 80% of the world uses lte while 20% wimax. in europe voice ove ip is already being used over lte. lte was also designed for voip. and as i already stated being used by some already.
