I am assuming u already have ftouchflo installed...also install the customizer for ftouchflo at xda forums. Go to settings-> personal-> ftouchflo config. and select 21 and 31 to up->down, and left->rite gesture respectively.
I am using minimize.exe, and that works perfectly too..
on a side note, i have been using ftouchflo with 90-95% accuracy in left right gestures and absolute 100% accuracy in minimizing up down gesture...soo ppl give it a shot..its worth it.
