got it now thanks alot bro, now for my other question, I just got the tour yesterday on sprint, im interested in getting the hybrid that hibby posted here, to get that into my tour is there any steps i have to do run like an spl or anything lol? I kno I need an OS, a hybrid or leak, but thats all I know. |
To answer your question you don't need a spl unlocker anything like that.
Download the leaked OS 5.0.0.419 to your cpu. And download the Hybrid files which will be just the JAVA folder or an installer. Don't install to cpu yet, just find and download.
Goto your control panel and make sure the only blackberry software you have installed to your cpu is the blackberry desktop manager preferably 4.7 version.
If you have a blackberry device software installed remove it.(Only one device software at a time).
Now it is good practice to re-boot your cpu after every install and un-install.
Now run the .exe for the leak OS 5.0.0.419. And install to cpu, once installed restart cpu.
Now nav to your computer/local disk (C):/program files/common files/research in motion/app loader/delete the vendor xml file at the bottom of the list inside the app loader folder.
Now in the shared folder/loader files/9630AMEA_v5.0.0.419_P4.2.0.179
Now if you the Hybrid/JAVA folder of your choice.
Open the 9630AMEA_v5.0.0.419_P4.2.0.179
Folder and delete the java folder inside it and replace it with the hybrid/JAVA folder of your choice.
Now if the hybrid you dowloaded is the auto-installer version it will copy and paste/overwrite the java folder. You just have point the auto-installer the 9630AMEA_v5.0.0.419_P4.2.0.179
Folder and run it..
Now if no auto-installer go back to the app loader folder and open it and click on loader. Then connect your blackberry and allow the upgrade process to complete.
Now enjoy the 8th wonder of the world.
