Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)

The progress being made on this is amazing. I'm very excited to see this running on my phone, as it seems very very usable as is.

I'm interested in the small bugs of these CDMA devices, as the seem somewhat random. I'm wondering what it is about starting a call initially that makes it work in android, why the U key doesn't work.. little things like that. I'm probably going to take a peek at the code myself to see if I can figure anything out. Everything in these builds is GSM centric, no CDMA mentions anywhere, and I think that someone needs to start compiling against a more CDMA friendly source, not just in the kernel and such. I don't have any first hand knowledge on how to do this, but I'm sure once I start reading up it'll start to make sense.

Also, the developer of the main download on XDA said that he changed the APN list for this build, and in the next he will also include the old APNs merged with the new. I'm guessing this is why data doesn't work.
