i would like this as well. im guessing it has to do with editing mode9 files with something to the likes of GoodThings2Life's edit
edit: im so used to getting a txt, reading it, then the (1) disapears, i catch myself doing this when i get 1 email, i read it wait for the bubble, but i have to open the message for it to disappear LOL
