no I agree with you.. I honestly don't see what's so great about android..it doesn't do anything better than any other os. Most phone manufacturers are waiting on wm7. To me android is a placeholder until then that's all. Actually didn't htc say they really wanted wm7? I believe sprint said it as well.. Android is nothing special, its actually having the same problems microsoft has as far as developing for so many different hardware types(screen size,resolution,chipset) I'm thinking that's why microsoft has specific requirements for phones that will run wm7.
