64M sounds about right. 70-75 M is do-able, but might give the stuck-at-second-bootscreen error you get when your ROM is too big. The 2.04 bootloader also limits the size you can flash, so I wouldn't go much bigger than you have with 64M. I'd say that the .04+ would be the one to use.
