Yes, getting iphone apps to work on WM can be done, much in the same way I can play the original Oregon Trail with an emulator on my PC. Does that mean I can use Mac OS on my PC? Negative sir. Not possible. Also, iphone apps and WM apps are generally very basic as compared to Mac and PC software. So, if a dev sees an app they like for iphone, rewriting it for WM is generally not that complicated. So, link all the iphone apps you want to that work on WM, it's irrelevant to the porting of iphone OS. Basically what you are asking for is a ground up rewrite of the OS for an HTC device. You do understand how many millions Apple spent on development of their OS right? Your 1k wouldn't even pay for the scratch paper the developers use.
