Most of the people who use it have a pretty good understanding and having been using it or some varient for a while. To sit here and try to explain it to everyone that asks really puts a damper on your day. Thats why you can find things like the SSK tutorial or the tutorial over at
www.everythingdiamond.info
I personally have spent thousands of hours messing with this kitchen to make it my own and to my flavor. To be honest just spend some good quality and you'll know where things are and what to change.
