Others say they can't hear me, is there anyway to increase mic pick up volume?

Hello all

Since I've gotten my Verizon TP2 I found that both the phones earpiece output and mic pic up was very poor. Basically so far for everyone I have called I have to shout into the phone to be herd.

And its very annoying to have a $500.00 phone in my hand and have someone pick up the phone and hear hello ...helloo...HELLOO, and be practically yelling hello back but cannot be herd only then to just have to person hang up.

With some hacks I was able to get the earpiece louder but I don't think that has done anything to make the mic more sensitive.

So I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to make the mic that is used for the regular private (ie non speaker phone) to pic up more sound?

In other words make it more sensitive.

Does anyone know of the specific setting in the 6.1 reg for this?

Thanks for any help.
