Interesting note about the GPS being advertise in June. Assuming for a moment that's accurate, I admit that I was still in "cell phones are evil, and it'll be a cold day in Hell before I own one" stage then. Still, as you pointed out, within 30 days it would have been obvious, and the correct response would have been to return it for not having advertised functionality.
