Hey, how bout this...
Click on start > settings > personal > buttons
In the drop down selector on the bottom you can select Quickmenu (because it already has a shortcut).
Long press send key. Voila!
I'm looking into alternatives. I know that you could run a program called raphkeyboard (I think that's the name) and assign any key or button to do anything.
