Let me see if I can explain this, I have taken pics inside, in the same lighting, and had pictures with no static. In fact, my Kodak camera has NEVER had static. My Treo Pro, never had static, it was a 2.0 MP cam. My Touch Pro, never had static, 3.2 MP. This phone is the first I have ever seen with this effect, and I am taking pics in the same house!

This is honestly interesting. Post some taken outside in broad daylight at ISO 100 or lower, along with EXIF data.
I don't know what you are looking for. I don't want to have to take my house outside to take pictures. You know, if I go to the Corvette museum here and want a picture of a car they probably won't let me take it outside haha. I promise I have changed every setting and some have static and some don't. I haven't had one without static in a while though.

Haha we are just messing around. We like to have fun, but for real you seem very invested in this camera. I understand it isn't going to work a miracle, but I don't want pure crap either.
