can someone translate this? will the gps work with google maps or tomtom? if not will there be any hopes of a hack to route gps coordinates to said programs? I really don't want to buy a gps dongle after all this garbage is over.
That link is dead. Bummer as it might have gone a long way to help some really frustrated users in another thread.

Currently the Mogul/6800 does not support any other form of internal GPS other than e911 location services (and maybe a few internal sprint services).

You would need to utilize an external unit to fully use TomTom.

It has been communicated that we are to expect a ROM upgrade Q1 2008 which will supposedly enable a more moderate useable GPS.
