I don't know, but would like to figure it out.
All I know is that since updating to the new OEMDrivers, which replaced Calk's, the battery has sucked, and today when I turned off BT it was awesome.
I ran a comparison of the VZW OEMDrivers folder vs Calk's OEMDriver folder in WinDiff and attached the results below. Calk does have some newer bt...dll files than the VZW ones and visa versa.

I also posted in MM forum to try to get to the bottom of this.
