Interesting info, so I am going to leave the post, but I do not expect it to help anyone.

Ok. New Theory:

I used to use a Sprint phone on the Verizon network and I used to battle with the constant roaming indicator. That sent me in to QPST on a hunch. I found that the NAM settings are different under custom ROM than stock ROMS.

I compared them line by line using QPST. Once again, I have no way to test, so I am going to need a tester.

Instructions:
  1. With your phone on dial ##778 - This launches EPST
  2. Put 000000 in as the access code.
  3. Select View Info --> NAM Settings
  4. Select the last line ACCOLC (Access Overload Class)
  5. Select Menu -- Edit
  6. Change the value from 9 to 4 (Matches Verizon ROMs)
  7. Press OK -- Reset and let me know how it works.
That's weird. Mine is 6.

I'm currently running the 1/10/2010 MightROM.
