well if you want chatting there is a client that does all in one facebook chatting aim, yahoo and eerything for free and i use it its preetty neat i stay on it all day long......its called parlingo. here is the attached cab if you want to try it out and as far as the browser you can use the mobile version page on opera and stay up with the chatting on FB with parlingo.
