But actually Im still keeping it set to NOT autodownload anything! if I do update weather or twitter I am manually turning off the data line as I have also had an issue with it NOT turning it off as it's supposed to. It is actually turing it on when it's not supposed to so I have been trying to figure out what is doing it. Nothing apparent in the process no programs are running on their own...

Im not sure why some people are having battery issues and some arent but my guess is its the settings people are using. Make sure you change the data connection settings to disable after 1-2 minutes (mine is 2 minutes), dont have your email checked every 15 minutes, dont have weather updated every 15 minutes. I have the huuuuge memory leak issues (recently installed cleanram with has helped big time) but the battery life is pretty decent.
BTW im running Dec 31 21885.
