i thought the battery charges & there is sum sort of sensor or something along those lines that disconnects charge at 100% ?

yea thats what i was thinking too ..but i dnt really kno ..whats going on..my signal strenght its real good ..n the phone its new i been using it for 2 weeks so idk =(
