So is it a good idea to use the HardSPL unlocker now since it according to the directions it only needed to be done once, and then do the Verizon ROM upgrade? Will this leave me that if I wanted to load a new Custom ROM I am all set to do this?

I was never sure if you could just do the HardSPL without actually putting a new ROM on.

Would there be any changes to the direction of using the HardSPL to load a signed ROM? I thought that allowed loading signed or unsigned.
