Ok I broke down and went all out and bought a BT-5 from geeks.com I paid $35. After two hours of painful set up I got it working!!! It is great! battery life is awsome I have used it for 2 days on one charge and it's still going. The best part is it charges with mini usb. I'm using Live Search and TomTom 6 both work great.

For thoes whom plan on purchasing a BT-5 this is what finaly worked for me.

1. Charge BT-5
2. Turn on and wait 20 sec.
3. Add bluetooth device in Comm Manager (check allow device to bee seen)
4. Use 0000 as passkey
5. Check serial port box.
6. Click Finish
7. Under bluetooth settings add comm port 5
8. Under Settings/Bluetooth GPS/ select com1 for software and com5 for hardware.

This worked for me.
