This is another thread with same info. I made some suggestions (too long to repeat here).

mmmm compressing it and password protecting the compressed file it is kinda close but thats not really what I'm looking for.

I know what you mean about accessing it but in most compressed files I have found, that access is kinda limited as its not really meant to work like what I'm describing.

I have done some searching on the internet for this so I know there are a bunch of program out there, and actually there are really almost to many.

So I was kinda hoping there might be a accepted standard or best of the best as there typically is for so many other programs.
