some popups seem to indicate that your phone is looking for data connection. Atleast that's what mine says. it's registering on a voice only network. Add this connection & see what happens

That connection did not fix it for me so far. I tried various names i.e. VZW or Verizon and also switched from standard to auto a and auto b and I am still getting a very consistant message.
I am in extended quite often so if there are any solutions I'll be happy to test them as well.
