since you've admitted youre a noob, i suggest not flashing yet. people who jump into it too early have bricked their phone due to not fully reading threads related to it. check out the cdma upgrades when youre ready, but be sure to read all tutorials thoroughly when you unlock and flash. feel free to ask questions in the touch pro2 forum if you need help. nobody likes seeing someone brick their phones. good luck. btw, spb mobile shell is just a simple download. you can install it on your current ROM. spbsoftware.com. try the trial it's a great interface.
