That is correct delete default.txt and add the startup.txt. I asked some of the guys from xda/htc-linux if we can get whitestone added into the topaz/rhod development tree and they agreed. There is much work to be done GPIO dumps for hardware functionality, etc. this won't be a few weeks project but months to complete probably.
