Yes, GPS is on and running. I might try waze but it was still a work in progress when I used it on winmo and wasn't really reliable.

Thanks man. Yeah they don't have the old GMaps up there anymore. I didn't use it enough before I switched ROM's so not sure exactly how it was working before. But i'm pretty sure the screen isn't suppose to turn off while in use.
