HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor change from 1 to 0. This will take care of the messaging not reverting back to portrait.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sip and create a new DWord entry called "TurnOffAutoDeploy", setting it's value to 1 this will help with 2.5 freezing in msging when you tap first then open the keyboard to landscape.
Oh yah, the MMS limit is 300k. Try upping that to 1 mb or 5 mb.
