I'm also on Verizon, and I've only been able to get MMS to work in 2 different setups.
Using the new Arcsoft 4.2.8.1 setup for Verizon. Check this post for info.

I still had some issues w/ it, so I've been using this one from an older kitchen, and I uploaded it to the FTP in case anyone else wants it. This one works great for me.

With either of these options, you'll need to put them into the User_Oem folder, and make sure you remove the MMS version that's in the kitchen so you can select the new one you put in.
